Teabowl---near future they are going to be a different style though like this picture. In Japan this teabowl is meant for summer time to cool the tea faster then a concave teabowl.

so i threw a couple plates this week and here is a platter/plate i made today... I'm probably going to use them for my breadth. It was also cool to throw with larger amounts of clay because i haven't thrown anything big well in a long time especially since there is only so big a teabowl or a mug can get before it just looks stupid

Last week I made a set of teabowls and started experimenting with cups. I'm thinking about tall cups with subtle alterations in shape around the middle and then staining a simple design on them and woodfiring them.

Congrats to all people who won stuff for their pieces!! Time to get down to business on my concentration I think I am going to remake a couple projects from earlier. Also I want to have a couple projects ready for wood fire (Whitney mentioned something about one at the end of the month?). I want to focus on small simple detail in my next couple projects to make stuff unique. I threw some mug bodies yesterday but forgot to take pictures and forgot to bring them home to attach handles and trim so hopefully they won't be too dry on Monday. Also for my breadth I am going to make a teapot this month... something simple. Here's one by John Leach that I like the idea of
